Bacopa monnieri or Brahmi, has been used by Ayurvedic medical practitioners for centuries. They help in improving memory, reducing anxiety, and treating epilepsy. In fact, research shows that it can also boost brain function and alleviate anxiety and stress. It is a low growing, creeping herb that reaches a maximum of about 6 inches in height and grows outward in a sprawling pattern.
The irrigation of this plant must be planned in a way that keeps moisture on top of the soil. Once the plant begins to flourish, stems with leaves can be cut as per the need.
