• Senecio macroglosossus, also known as Netal Ivy, is an eye catching house plant, which is highly recommended it for its versatility, ease of care and beauty. Native to South Africa, Natal Ivy grows on forest floors and thickets. In your home, this gorgeous plant will happily trail off a book shelf or wind itself around the structure of a patio awning. They are great to train and to put in hanging baskets.

• The plant has smooth, thin, flexible branches bearing triangular or five-pointed ivy-like foliage. When creeping along the ground, the branches sometimes develop roots at the nodes. The leaves are a bright glossy green and are somewhat succulent. When broken, both the leaves and stems release a fresh lemony scent.
